FutureBandDC, formed in 2013, is known for their incredibly captivating energy, stage presence, and power. With roots in hip-hop, soul, and go-go, and the influence of Earth, With, and Fire, the band has their own blend of sound that leaves every audience re-energized. Led by singer James Poet, the band consists of a trumpet, trombone, 3 saxophones, keyboard, guitar, bass, drums, and percussion. The band most recently traveled to Havana, Cuba, to perform at the Havana International Jazz Festival, where they recorded their latest album, Crank Sessions: Live from Havana Cuba.
